As a Front Desk Officer at a busy manufacturing and industrial location, you will welcome employees and visitors, manage access control, issue badges, monitor alarms and camera systems, and document incidents and observations. You will be the first point of contact for customer service and clear communication, helping to support security-related operations with professionalism. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and guests by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at an industrial location.
  • Staff the front desk to help manage access control by greeting visitors, validating identification, issuing visitor credentials, and directing personnel to the appropriate destination.
  • Monitor security-related systems such as cameras, alarms, and access control panels, and report unusual activity according to site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications, documenting details, and coordinating with site contacts and/or emergency services as needed.
  • Complete required reports and logs such as visitor entries, incident reports, and shift activity documentation, and communicate key updates during shift transitions.
