Join Allied Universal at a fast-paced tech, media, and telecom location as a Front Desk Officer, where you will welcome employees and guests, manage visitor check-in, support access control and badge activities, and monitor activity at the entry point. You will provide calm, professional communication while handling security-related questions and escalating concerns. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following site-specific procedures and security-related policies at the front desk.
  • Control access to the location by greeting and screening visitors, verifying identification, issuing visitor badges, and coordinating guest check-in and/or check-out.
  • Monitor alarms, cameras, phones, and radios as assigned, and communicate unusual activity to the appropriate personnel to help to deter unauthorized access.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting emergency services and/or internal contacts when appropriate.
  • Complete shift logs and incident reports with clear, accurate details, and coordinate with on-site teams regarding deliveries, contractors, and other scheduled activities.
