As a Front Desk Officer in a retail location, you will welcome guests and associates, manage access and visitor check-in, issue badges, and monitor entry activity to help support a secure environment. You will be a visible, professional presence who documents security-related events, communicates clearly, and partners with site teams to resolve concerns. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to shoppers, guests, and store associates by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the front desk.
• Monitor access to the retail location by greeting entrants, verifying identification and/or credentials as required, and directing visitors to the appropriate area or contact.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating communication with store leadership and/or emergency services as needed.
• Operate and monitor security-related systems such as CCTV, alarms, radios, and phones, and report unusual activity according to post orders.
• Complete required reports and documentation, including incident reports, visitor logs, and shift activity logs, and communicate relevant updates during shift transitions.
