As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a fast-paced tech and telecommunications location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will document observations, communicate clearly with site contacts and/or responders, and deliver a welcoming customer service experience. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and actions per site requirements.
- Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout the facility, including offices, common areas, loading or dock areas, and the exterior perimeter as assigned.
- Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry by verifying identification, checking visitor authorization, and directing personnel and guests according to site policy.
- Complete routine patrol and incident reports, communicate relevant updates to site contacts and/or Allied Universal supervision, and report maintenance concerns such as doors, lighting, or alarms.
