As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a leading tech and telecom location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will document observations, communicate clearly with site teams, and deliver customer service with a people-first approach. Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a tech and/or telecommunications office and campus environment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior spaces, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter routes, noting unusual conditions and reporting concerns through approved channels.
• Monitor access points and common areas, assist with visitor check-in and/or badge verification as directed by site policy, and document security-related activity in daily logs and incident reports.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications, guiding occupants to appropriate assembly areas when directed, and supporting first responders on arrival.
• Operate site security-related systems such as CCTV, alarms, and access control consoles as assigned, and communicate observations promptly to Allied Universal leadership and/or client contacts.
