About The Position

As a Security Officer - Telecom Patrols Unarmed in Burlington, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a dynamic tech and media location. Your presence helps to deter security-related incidents, while you deliver outstanding customer service and clear communication. You will interact with visitors and employees, support access control, and respond to alarm panels as needed. Requirements

Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and adhering to site-specific policies and protocols.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities as required by site procedures.
Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and addressing unauthorized entry.
Support emergency response activities as needed, including evacuation assistance and communication with site contacts and Allied Universal management.
Interact professionally with employees, visitors, and contractors to provide information and assistance as needed within a tech and media environment.
