Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities as appropriate.
Monitor access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or exit from the location.
Verify identification and credentials of individuals entering and/or exiting the premises according to site policies.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues when necessary.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter suspicious activity and identify potential concerns.
Document and report any security-related incidents, irregularities, or policy violations observed during shift.
Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and client representatives to maintain a secure environment within the retail distribution location.
