As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols of docks, yards, and building areas, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and support access control and visitor verification. You will document observations, communicate concerns promptly, and deliver strong customer service to team members and drivers. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and site personnel by following Allied Universal post orders, security-related procedures, and site-specific policies within a logistics and distribution location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, trailer yards, parking lots, and perimeter fencing to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
• Monitor access points and vehicle and/or pedestrian traffic, verifying identification and/or shipping documentation as required by site procedures.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site leadership and/or emergency services when appropriate.
• Complete detailed reports of patrol activity, incidents, and observed hazards, and communicate relevant updates to supervisors and/or client contacts per site protocol.
