As an unarmed patrol officer at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will document observations, communicate clearly with site teams, and assist with access control and visitor interactions while delivering a strong customer service experience. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients and site personnel by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of warehouse areas, trailer yards, parking areas, and perimeter points; note and report unusual conditions and maintenance concerns.
- Control access to the location by monitoring entrances, gates, and visitor/vendor check-in processes as directed; verify credentials and direct drivers and visitors to appropriate areas.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; escalate to site leadership and/or public emergency services when appropriate.
- Complete security-related reports and logs, including patrol activity, incident documentation, and shift handoff notes; communicate observations to the oncoming officer and site contacts.
