Join Allied Universal at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location where you will support access control and security-related operations by greeting visitors, verifying credentials, issuing badges, and managing entry and exit points. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help to deter incidents, respond to alarms and/or panel activity, and communicate clearly with teams on site. Requirements
- Have 2+ years of security-related experience.
- Be 21+ years of age.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to personnel, drivers, and visitors by following site-specific access control procedures and security-related policies at a logistics and distribution location.
- Control entry and exit at gates and/or lobby checkpoints by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, maintaining visitor and vehicle logs, and coordinating with site contacts for approvals.
- Monitor inbound and outbound truck traffic at shipping and receiving areas by confirming appointments, checking documentation, and directing drivers to designated staging and dock areas per site procedures.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or emergency services as directed by post orders.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of parking areas, trailer yards, docks, and perimeter points to identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and/or policy violations and help to deter unauthorized access.
