Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including access control measures for the location.
Monitor and control entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and/or potential security-related incidents.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols inside the location and around the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or security-related concerns.
Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and activities as required by Allied Universal and client protocols.
Assist visitors, vendors, and staff with access needs while maintaining adherence to site-specific policies.
Support emergency response activities as needed, coordinating with Allied Universal management and local authorities when appropriate.
