Join Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location where you will manage access control, greet tenants and visitors, verify credentials, and support a professional lobby presence. You will conduct routine patrols, document security-related activity, and communicate clearly with property teams to help reduce incidents. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to tenants, employees, vendors, and visitors by following site-specific access control procedures, property policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Control entry and exit at designated access points by verifying identification, issuing and/or collecting visitor credentials, maintaining access logs, and directing visitors to the appropriate location.
  • Monitor alarms, cameras, and/or building systems as assigned and report irregular activity or property concerns according to post orders and escalation procedures.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting events and notifying site contacts and/or public services as required.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of common areas, parking areas, and perimeter spaces to help to deter unauthorized access and other security-related concerns.
