As a Security Officer Visitor Services in Saint Louis, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • A state, county, and/or city issued security license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a front desk location within a financial institution.
  • Monitor access at the front desk by greeting visitors, verifying identification and/or appointments, issuing visitor credentials when required, and documenting entry and exit activity according to site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to site contacts, law enforcement, and/or emergency personnel as appropriate.
  • Support lobby and reception operations by observing cameras, alarms, and/or communication systems, reporting maintenance or operational issues, and helping to deter unauthorized access.
  • Complete required reports, logs, and/or incident documentation accurately and in a timely manner while providing professional assistance to employees, visitors, and vendors.
