About The Position

As a Security Officer Visitor Services Desk in Phoenix, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • A current guard card and/or license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service at the front desk by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, visitor processing, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Monitor lobby and entry activity at a financial institution location, verify identification and access permissions, and report unusual or suspicious behavior to the appropriate contact.
  • Answer questions, direct employees and visitors, manage incoming calls and deliveries, and support a professional front desk experience aligned with location protocols.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.
  • Maintain accurate front desk logs, visitor records, and incident reports while helping to support daily operations and access control procedures.
