As a Security Officer Visitor Access in San Bernardino, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Requirements

Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
Possess supervisory experience.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

A guard card and/or license is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, drivers, vendors, and visitors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, badge verification, and visitor check-in and/or check-out activities at a logistics and distribution location.
Monitor entry and exit points, gates, and delivery access areas to help support authorized access, document arrivals and departures, and report unusual or unauthorized activity according to post procedures.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to site contacts and/or emergency services when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, perimeter, parking areas, trailer yards, and receiving and/or shipping zones, with attention to access points and other security-related conditions.
Maintain accurate logs, reports, and communication records related to visitor management, deliveries, contractor access, and other security-related activities in accordance with site policies.
