As a Security Officer Visitor Access in San Bernardino, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Requirements

  • Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Possess supervisory experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, drivers, vendors, and visitors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, badge verification, and visitor check-in and/or check-out activities at a logistics and distribution location.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, gates, and delivery access areas to help support authorized access, document arrivals and departures, and report unusual or unauthorized activity according to post procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to site contacts and/or emergency services when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, perimeter, parking areas, trailer yards, and receiving and/or shipping zones, with attention to access points and other security-related conditions.
  • Maintain accurate logs, reports, and communication records related to visitor management, deliveries, contractor access, and other security-related activities in accordance with site policies.
