About The Position

As a Security Officer - Visitor Screening in Wahiawa, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As a Screener at a busy food and beverage location, you will welcome visitors, support access control, and help maintain an organized entry process. You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and provide clear, courteous communication to guests and team members. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and guests by carrying out security-related screening procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage location.
  • Screen individuals entering the site by verifying identification and/or access authorization, directing visitors appropriately, and assisting with entry procedures as required by post orders.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and notify site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter, monitoring for unusual activity, unsecured doors, and/or policy concerns.
  • Complete required reports and logs, communicate observations to Allied Universal management and site contacts, and follow established escalation and documentation procedures.
