Join Allied Universal as a Screener at a fast-paced tech, media, and telecom location, where you will help support smooth access for employees, contractors, and visitors. You will monitor entry points, conduct screening procedures, verify credentials, and communicate clearly to help reduce security-related incidents. You will remain approachable and visible, document concerns, and collaborate with site teams, bringing an agile, reliable, innovative mindset while delivering through teamwork and integrity.

Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Screen employees, contractors, and visitors at entry points by verifying credentials, directing foot traffic, and observing for prohibited items and/or unusual behavior in a tech, media, and/or telecom location.
  • Conduct security-related screening of bags, packages, and deliveries as assigned, coordinating with site contacts regarding restricted items and/or refused entry.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting events and communicating timely updates to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, entry areas, and perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
