About The Position

As a Security Officer - Visitor Reception Desk in PHOENIX, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Front Desk Officer at a financial institution location, you will greet employees and visitors, verify identification, manage access control and/or badge credentials, and monitor the lobby for unusual activity. You will support a welcoming atmosphere through strong communication, clear incident reporting, and responsive customer service while helping to reduce security-related concerns. Requirements

  • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Possession of a guard card and/or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service at the front desk by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as needed.
  • Control access to the location by greeting and screening visitors, validating identification, issuing temporary badges, and directing guests to the appropriate contact.
  • Monitor lobby activity and front entry points, report unusual activity, and help to deter unauthorized access through a consistent, professional presence.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications to site leadership and/or responding personnel.
  • Complete required logs and reports such as visitor records, incident reports, and shift activity documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site guidelines.
