As a Security Officer Visitor Check In in Burbank, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Front Desk Officer in a dynamic tech and media location, you will welcome visitors, manage access, and support daily security-related operations through strong communication and attentive service. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a front desk location within a tech, media, and telecommunications environment.
• Monitor visitor access at the front desk, verify identification and/or credentials, and direct guests, employees, and vendors in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Answer phones, manage sign-in processes, and support front desk operations while helping to deter unauthorized access and maintaining awareness of activity in the lobby and entry areas.
• Support badge issuance, package handling, and other reception-related duties in line with location protocols and customer service expectations.
