As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will conduct visible patrols and mobile rounds at an active jobsite location, helping to identify and report security-related concerns. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver’s license under AU Driver Policy requirements. You will document activity, communicate clearly with site leaders and/or dispatch, and use a computer or tablet to support accurate reporting while delivering a people-first experience.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an active job site and/or facility.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, work areas, staging zones, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Control access at gates and/or entrances by verifying authorization, directing visitors and deliveries, and maintaining a professional presence.
• Complete written and/or electronic reports, including incident reports, patrol logs, and observations of hazards or damaged property for review by site management.
