Job Description As a Security Officer - Industrial Site Vehicle Patrol in Atglen, PA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer in a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor entry points, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents. You will remain visible and approachable, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication to everyone on site. Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Control access to the location by verifying identification and/or credentials of individuals entering and exiting the premises.
Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
Provide customer service by assisting employees, visitors, and contractors with security-related inquiries and directions.
Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies in accordance with Allied Universal guidelines.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter potential issues and observe for irregularities.
Report and document any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual circumstances as observed during shifts.
Assist in emergency response activities as directed, including coordinating with law enforcement and/or emergency responders when necessary.
