About The Position

As a Security Officer - Vehicle Patrol Driver in Alpharetta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer supporting a fast-paced tech location, you will monitor assigned areas and conduct routine vehicle patrols to help maintain a welcoming environment. You will stay visible, respond to security-related concerns, document observations, and communicate clearly with site teams and visitors. Requirements

  • Have a minimum of 2 years of security-related experience.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • CPR Certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, guests, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, work areas, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance or security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points and verify visitor and contractor entry per site policy, issuing temporary credentials when authorized and directing individuals to appropriate locations.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, providing assistance, calling for additional resources as needed, and completing required notifications.
  • Prepare clear, timely reports of patrols, incidents, and unusual activity, including accurate log entries and follow-up information for Allied Universal management and site contacts.
