As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a caring culture built on integrity, teamwork, and innovation. This is a driving post, so a valid driver’s license is required.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting events and communicating updates to Allied Universal site leadership and/or the client representative.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, loading docks, and exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and vehicle traffic, verifying authorization as directed, and assisting with visitor sign-in and/or badge processes in accordance with post orders.
  • Complete routine security-related reports such as patrol logs, incident reports, and daily activity summaries, and report maintenance concerns such as lighting issues, unsecured doors, and/or damaged fencing.
