About The Position

As a Security Officer - Vehicle Patrol Driver in Leawood, KS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will drive the property and conduct routine rounds to help identify and report security-related concerns, remain highly visible, and support tenants and visitors with professional service. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license under AU Driver Policy requirements. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and contractors at a commercial real estate location by following site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and post orders, and/or supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance and security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points and observe for unusual conditions, reporting security-related issues, hazards, and/or suspicious activity according to site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation, notification, and coordination with site contacts and/or public responders as directed.
  • Complete routine documentation such as daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol logs, and communicate updates to the supervisor and/or site management.
