About The Position

As a Security Officer Vehicle Patrol Driver in Peebles, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an unarmed, driving patrol officer at a busy manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to calls for service with clear communication and strong customer service. You will document activity, support site operations, and work as part of a team that is agile, reliable, and innovative, always acting with integrity in a people-first culture.

Requirements

  • Be 21+ years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to onsite personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking lots, and the perimeter to help to identify unusual activity, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns.
  • Monitor access points and assist with authorized entry and exit by observing credentials, directing visitors, and/or coordinating with site contacts in accordance with post orders.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications, supporting evacuations, and/or coordinating with emergency services as directed.
  • Complete reports and documentation of patrols, incidents, and irregularities, and communicate updates to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision as required.
