As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, remain highly visible to help reduce security-related issues, and support access control and incident reporting with clear communication and customer service. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to location personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, reporting concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial facility, including interior production areas, exterior grounds, parking areas and perimeter points, as permitted by post orders.
  • Help to deter unauthorized access by monitoring entrances, gates and loading and receiving activity, verifying credentials and directing visitors, drivers and contractors according to site procedures.
  • Complete required documentation such as patrol logs, incident reports and shift activity reports, and communicate status updates during shift transitions.
