About The Position

As a Security Officer - Vehicle Patrol Driver in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine patrols, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license under AU Driver Policy Requirements, supporting mobile patrols and rapid response. You will deliver strong customer service and clear communication while working with a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, and guided by integrity.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients at a financial institution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random foot patrols of the lobby, ATM areas, drive-through lanes, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points, observe customer and staff activity, and report suspicious or unusual behavior according to site-specific policies and Allied Universal post orders.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including supporting de-escalation efforts and coordinating with onsite staff and/or emergency responders as needed.
  • Complete required reports and documentation such as incident reports, shift logs, and patrol documentation, and communicate relevant updates to supervisors and site contacts.
