As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a fast-paced tech and communications location, you will patrol on foot and by vehicle, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, support access control, respond to calls for service, and document observations while delivering strong customer service. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and site personnel by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including providing clear notifications to site contacts and documenting actions taken.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas, including building perimeters, parking areas, and common spaces, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify hazards or maintenance concerns.
  • Control access by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying visitor and contractor authorization, and directing guests to the appropriate check-in process in accordance with site protocols.
  • Complete detailed reports of daily activities, irregular events, and patrol observations using site-required tools and/or written logs, and communicate relevant updates during shift transitions.
