About The Position

As a Security Officer - Vehicle Patrol Driver in Mobile, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a busy location where your presence helps support a secure environment. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and respond to security-related concerns while delivering strong customer service and clear communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license, giving you variety as you move throughout the site and help maintain smooth day-to-day operations with integrity and teamwork.

Requirements

  • A TSA issued TWIC is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, helping to deter escalations through clear communication and timely notifications.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around buildings, grounds, and the perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
  • Monitor access points and observe on-site activity for unusual conditions, documenting observations and reporting concerns per site-specific policies.
  • Prepare and submit written reports of incidents, patrol activity, and other security-related events in accordance with Allied Universal requirements and site guidelines.
