About The Position

As a Security Officer - Vehicle Patrol Driver in Saint Charles, MO , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal at a leading tech location as an unarmed patrol officer, supporting a welcoming atmosphere through security-related duties. You will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce incidents, and respond to alarms and service requests with clear communication and strong customer service. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license that meets Allied Universal driver policy requirements, backed by a caring, integrity-driven team.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management as required.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of interior spaces, building entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify hazards, unusual conditions, and/or policy violations.
  • Monitor access control points and security-related systems as assigned, including checking credentials, directing visitors to the proper location, and documenting entries, exits, and deliveries.
  • Complete detailed written and/or electronic reports, including daily activity logs, incident reports, and maintenance requests, and communicate updates during shift turnover.
