As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at an automotive location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help deter security-related incidents while providing excellent customer service. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
  • At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies related to access control at the location.
  • Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or activity within the premises.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to observe and report any unusual activity or conditions.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of access control activities, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and client protocols.
  • Assist visitors, employees, and contractors with access procedures and respond to inquiries in a professional manner.
  • Support emergency response activities as needed and communicate promptly with Allied Universal management and client representatives about incidents.
