About The Position

As a Security Officer - Vehicle Patrol Driver in Claycomo, MO , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a leading automotive location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entrances, conducting routine patrols, and maintaining a visible presence. This is a driving post, requiring you to navigate the premises and interact with team members and visitors. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Applicants must provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with access control procedures at the location, monitoring entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access.
  • Verify credentials of individuals entering and/or exiting the premises, following site-specific protocols.
  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by responding to inquiries and assisting with directions as needed.
  • Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter suspicious activities and report irregularities.
  • Document and report all incidents, observations, and activities as required by Allied Universal and client protocols.
  • Collaborate with site personnel and local authorities as necessary to address security-related concerns.
