Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience is required, or a college degree is required.
- Client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Guard card is required.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or contractors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
- Monitor entrances and exits, verify identification and/or credentials, and help to control authorized access for employees, visitors, and deliveries.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report security-related concerns according to site protocols.
- Maintain accurate visitor logs, access records, and incident documentation, and communicate relevant activity to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, observing for unusual activity and helping to deter unauthorized access or policy violations.
