Requirements

  • A minimum of 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience is required, or a college degree is required.
  • Client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Guard card is required.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or contractors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
  • Monitor entrances and exits, verify identification and/or credentials, and help to control authorized access for employees, visitors, and deliveries.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report security-related concerns according to site protocols.
  • Maintain accurate visitor logs, access records, and incident documentation, and communicate relevant activity to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, observing for unusual activity and helping to deter unauthorized access or policy violations.
