As a Front Desk Security Officer with Allied Universal at a utilities location, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and staff, providing a welcoming presence while monitoring access and responding to security-related concerns. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies at the front desk.
Monitor access to the location, verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering or exiting the premises.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with emergency services as needed.
Maintain detailed and accurate logs of daily activities, visitor check-ins, and any security-related incidents or unusual occurrences.
Communicate professionally and courteously with all individuals at the front desk, addressing inquiries and providing assistance as appropriate.
Support the implementation of emergency response activities, following established protocols specific to the utilities environment.
