Requirements

  • Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Five or more years of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist visitors, employees, and contractors at the front desk, verifying identification and managing access to the location.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, helping to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity within the utilities environment.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established procedures and protocols.
  • Maintain accurate records of daily activities, visitor logs, and incident reports as required by site-specific policies.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, guests, and Allied Universal management to address inquiries and provide information as needed.
  • Support emergency response activities by following site-specific procedures and collaborating with local authorities when appropriate.
  • Adhere to all security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and protocols relevant to the utilities location.
