Job Description As a Security Officer - Patrol Specialist in Westlake, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal at a leading financial institution, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine rounds, and stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support access control, greet employees and visitors with strong customer service, and use a computer and/or tablet to document activity and communicate updates. Requirements

  • Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be comfortable using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a financial services environment.
  • Monitor access control points, greet and direct guests, confirm identification and/or appointment information, and help maintain orderly entry processes.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications and documenting actions taken.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of offices, common areas, and building perimeter to help identify unusual activity, unsecured doors, and/or policy concerns.
  • Complete required reports and logs such as incident reports, access records, and shift activity summaries, and communicate relevant updates to Allied Universal supervision and location management.
