As an unarmed patrol officer at a hotels and resorts location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will assist guests and team members with clear communication, report concerns, and support a welcoming experience. Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to guests, residents, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a hotel and resort location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including guest concerns, disturbances, medical calls, and fire and/or alarm activations.
  • Conduct regular and random foot patrols of guest areas, lobby and amenities, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify hazards and/or maintenance issues.
  • Monitor access points and visitor traffic, assist with wayfinding, and support check-in and event activity while documenting unusual activity and reporting concerns to site leadership.
  • Complete routine reports and incident documentation, communicate via radio and/or phone with site staff and Allied Universal leadership, and support loss prevention awareness through presence and observation.
