As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas at a dynamic location, helping to maintain a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will complete routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and document observations with clear communication. Bring a people-first mindset and act with integrity while partnering with site teams to support daily operations through teamwork, reliability, agility, and innovation.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate updates to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
