You will complete routine patrols, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and communicate clearly with team members and site personnel. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

- Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
- Alarm Panel Experience is preferred.
- Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet is preferred.
- Customer Service Experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to the client by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within a logistics and distribution location.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or public emergency services as directed by post orders.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, loading dock areas, trailer yards, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
- Monitor access points and verify credentials for employees, visitors, and vendors, including directing foot and vehicle traffic and documenting entries and exits according to site procedures.
- Complete routine reports and logs, communicate observations to the client and Allied Universal supervision, and support security-related checks such as door, gate, and alarm status inspections.
