About The Position

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Telecom Patrol Driver in Culver City, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a dynamic tech and media location. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification is preferred.
CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting staff and visitors as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter unauthorized access and report any suspicious activity.
Document and report all security-related incidents, hazards, and unusual occurrences according to Allied Universal protocols.
Collaborate with site personnel and local authorities as needed to address security-related matters.
Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter potential disruptions and provide assistance to employees and visitors.
