About The Position

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Shelter Driving Role in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Shelter, and more. Requirements

At least one year of security-related experience is required.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including responding appropriately to emergency situations as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, following established protocols for the location.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and maintain a visible Allied Universal presence.
Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter unauthorized access and support a welcoming environment for all occupants.
Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or concerns according to site-specific requirements.
Collaborate with site staff and local authorities as needed to assist with security-related issues within the location.
Remain alert and observant while on duty to identify and address potential security-related concerns in a timely manner.
