About The Position

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

A guard card or license is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
This is primarily a driving post.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as assisting with emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, helping to maintain authorized access to the location.
Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and law enforcement as required.
Complete required reports and documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
