As a Security Officer - Retail Site Driving Role in Reno, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the retail location.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail environment and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
- Observe and report any suspicious behavior, hazards, or unusual activity encountered during patrols.
- Assist with access control measures by monitoring entrances and exits, helping to maintain a secure retail environment.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management as needed.
- Complete detailed and accurate incident reports and daily activity logs as required by site protocols.
