As an unarmed patrol officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps reduce security-related concerns. You will greet and assist employees, contractors, and visitors, communicate clearly by radio and in written reports, and partner with site teams to respond to incidents and requests. Requirements
- Possess a TSA issued TWIC.
- A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, tank fields, loading and unloading zones, parking areas, and perimeter fencing to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify hazards or abnormal conditions.
- Monitor access points and control entry for employees, contractors, and deliveries, verifying authorization and directing traffic flow in accordance with site requirements.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications, assisting with evacuations and/or shelter instructions as directed, and supporting arriving responders.
- Complete detailed reports of patrol observations, incidents, and policy violations, and communicate timely updates to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
