About The Position

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Roving Driver in Canyon Lake, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer in a residential community, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, stay highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and respond to calls for service with clear communication and customer-focused support. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license. Requirements

  • A minimum of 2+ years of security experience is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Must be able to ride a bike.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to residents, guests, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random vehicle and/or foot patrols of residential streets, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter points; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
  • Monitor access points and community amenities as assigned, assist with visitor check-in and/or access authorization, and report unauthorized activity per post orders.
  • Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; request assistance from emergency services when needed.
  • Complete detailed reports on patrol activity, incidents, and policy violations; communicate observations to Allied Universal leadership and/or property management as required.
