Job Description As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Response in Chandler, AZ , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. Join Allied Universal at an automotive finance location as an unarmed patrol officer, monitoring assigned areas and performing routine foot patrols to help support a secure environment. You will remain highly visible, observe and report unusual activity, assist with access control, and communicate clearly with employees and visitors while documenting security-related incidents. Requirements

• Have at least 6+ months of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of office areas, lobbies, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify hazards or maintenance issues.
• Monitor access points and visitor traffic, verifying identification and/or credentials as required and directing employees, vendors, and guests according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as directed by post orders.
• Document patrols, incidents, and observations in written and/or electronic reports, and communicate pertinent information during shift handoff.
