Join Allied Universal at a chemical and petrochemical location as an unarmed patrol officer, monitoring and patrolling assigned areas while staying visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine rounds, support access control, and provide clear customer service and communication to employees and visitors. Requirements

• Have at least 6+ months of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Having a guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, tank farms, warehouses, parking areas, and perimeter lines; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Monitor access points and control entry and exit for employees, contractors, and deliveries by checking identification, issuing visitor credentials, and maintaining access logs.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications, documenting events, and assisting with site evacuation or shelter instructions as directed.
• Perform routine observation of cameras, alarms, and other monitoring systems; report suspicious activity, hazardous conditions, and maintenance concerns to the appropriate contacts.
