Job Description As a Security Officer - Unarmed Rover in Clinton, MS , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at an automotive location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, completing routine rounds and staying highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support access control, observe and report activity, and communicate clearly with employees and visitors while providing outstanding customer service. Requirements

• Have at least 1 or more years of security-related experience.
• Be able to lift more than 20 lbs, preferred.
• Have access control and/or badge experience, preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an automotive manufacturing and/or office location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical situations, alarms, access control issues, and/or disputes.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, parking lots, shipping and receiving areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify hazards or policy violations.
• Control entry and exit points by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, managing keys and/or badge access as directed, and documenting access activity per post orders.
• Complete routine reports, activity logs, and incident documentation, and communicate observations and/or concerns to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.
