Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Patrol Officer at a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will assist staff, patients, and visitors with professional customer service and clear communication while documenting observations and reporting concerns. Requirements
- Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
- Meet hospital vaccine requirements.
- Provide proof of a high school diploma and/or GED as required by the client.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting staff with de-escalation and reporting concerns through the proper channels.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, corridors, parking areas, and the perimeter, noting unusual conditions that may help to deter unauthorized activity.
- Support access control by monitoring entrances, directing visitors, assisting with wayfinding, and helping staff manage restricted areas in accordance with site procedures.
- Complete security-related documentation such as incident reports, shift logs, and patrol observations, and communicate updates to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
