About The Position

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Rover Patrol in Jacksonville, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will support access control, respond to requests, and deliver customer-focused service with clear communication. Requirements

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, tenants, and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including calling for assistance and completing required reports.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout commercial property areas, including building exteriors, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points and observe for unusual activity, policy violations, and/or hazards, then notify site contacts and/or public services as needed.
• Complete patrol logs, incident documentation, and shift turnover communications to support consistent coverage across the location.
